Meet Dr. Leonard Silverman

Dr. Silverman is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Illinois College of Optometry. He completed internships at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital Dept. of Ophthalmology and the Fort Sheridan Army Medical Center. He has been in practice since 1985 serving the Lansing area. Dr. Silverman specializes in Primary Eye Care. He has special interest in treatment of urgenteye care, glaucoma, diagnosis and treatment of dry eye and contact lens treatment.

Dr. Silverman has been involved in Laser Refractive Surgical Care since 1992. He is an Optometric Consultant for the TLC Laser Center and is on their Board of Optometric Advisors. Dr. Silverman enjoys participating in new contact lens investigations and also emerging diagnostic testing technologies.

Dr. Silverman is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association and the Central Michigan Optometric Society.

Dr. Silverman is married and father of two daughters, two dogs and the cat. He enjoys travel, golf, kayaking, skiing and scuba diving.
