Meet Dr. Sara Camburn

Dr. Camburn grew up in St. Johns, Michigan. In 2000 she graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. During her time at CMU, she was a member of the Marching Chippewas.

Dr. Camburn graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in May 2006. Her externships at Fort Wainwright Army Base in Fairbanks, Alaska; Michigan State University Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic; and Lansing Ophthalmology at Sparrow Hospital Professional Building. Dr. Camburn joined Okemos Optometry in 2007, and has experienced treating patients of all ages. She is licensed to treat and manage ocular allergies, dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic eye exams.

Dr. Camburn lives in Okemos. She enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, biking, running, and spending time with her nieces.
